LinkedIn members can have up to 30,000 first-degree connections. To ensure an optimal experience on LinkedIn, we recommend Connecting with people you know personally and trust professionally. Follow anyone whose posts you want to keep up with so you always stay informed.

I specifically focus my peer relationships with people I’ve worked with over time, peers in the cybersecurity community, and colleagues who have been expanding, building, and architecting the Internet.

People who are trying to pitch, market, and “expand their connections” are welcomed and encouraged to follow on LinkedIn.
